Singing Cedar Apiaries  Northern Survivor Queens

Our Queens DNA has a history of surviving in the Adirondack Mountains of New York and the Green Mountains of Vermont for 80 plus years.

They are the mother of all hybrids as we have bred into them over the years,
Carniolan, Pervis Golden, Russian and Danish Buckfast blood lines.

We Graft from our best producing lines, taking great care to select the best fed larvae of the youngest possible age. Starting the cells in special starter colonies, fed sugar syrup to ensure an abundance of royal jelly at this critical time of their development. This aspect of queen rearing is as important as the larvae we use. quality breeding, young larvae from exceptional colonies, and proper feeding to ensure high quality queens is a recipe for success.

Lastly all of our queens are field bred, having laid several frames of eggs so we can witness their larvae development and know they are the best quality we can possibly produce.
